Volunteer

Volunteers are always welcome here at EAST. Prior experience with parrots is helpful but not necessary. What is necessary is a love and respect for animals and a willingness to learn.

We primarily need help with cleaning! Cleaning aviaries and cages is our biggest need, and you get to socialize with the birds while you work! Our volunteer days are currently Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:45 to around 3:00 p.m. We prefer volunteers that can come one day per week. Come volunteer at EAST and we promise never a dull moment!

Occasionally we may need help with making toys, training, making chop, landscaping, aviary building, grant writing and fund raising ideas!
